A Fully Qualified Domain Name is also called the 'Domain Name' or 'Common Name'.
During the create of a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) you are asked for the 'Domain Name' or 'Common Name'.
As an example, if you wish your secure area to be https://secure.Sectigo.net/paymentpage.html then the 'Domain Name' or 'Common Name' is secure.Sectigo.net
As you can see, the 'Domain Name' or 'Common Name' does not include the 'https://' or the '/paymentpage.html'. Click to know what the https protocol is.
So, when a Fully Qualified Domain Name is requested it means the entire domain name, as in the example, secure.Sectigo.net
